MORGEN Glossary
Sustainability
Sustainability is a concept that aims to secure the long-term ecological, social and economic balance. It is about using resources in such a way that they are preserved for future generations and the natural balance of the planet is not compromised. In a corporate context, sustainability means developing business practices and strategies that are not only geared towards short-term profit, but also take long-term social responsibility into account. In this way, sustainable business models can improve the performance of companies, increase customer satisfaction and at the same time make a positive contribution to the environment and society.
